Loop
There are two trails around Lake Miramar: a dirt trail and a paved trail.
The dirt trail begins with paved road on the dam and transitions to a dirt road afterward. The dirt trail is mostly flat and has a lots of shade. Half of the trail is singletrack. It is very easy to switch back and forth between the dirt trail and paved trail as they parallel each other.
The paved trail is a popular trail for runners, rollerblades, casual biking, and road biking. It gets busy in late afternoon. The dirt trail is a good trail for beginner mountain biker.
