Description
To access the start of the Crescent Rock Trail, cross Skyline Drive from the north end of the Crescent Rocks Cliffs parking area. Look for the sign that marks the trail around one hundred feet to the right. The trail begins with a brief climb through some swaths of mountain laurel before descending the rest of the way along an old road. Look for the concrete marker post that marks the Limberlost Trail at the end of the Crescent Rock Trail. Remember, like most Skyline Drive trails, you'll have to ascend back to the start of this one. Plan accordingly with water, snacks, and layers. Thanks to Larry W. Brown, for sharing this trail description.
