Point to Point
This is a consistently steep and scenic trail up to a set of glacial lakes. The trail gets rocky as you traverse up along the ridge to the first peak with great views of the lakes below as well as willow on one side and the Mat-Su Valley down the other. The trail continues up the ridge until you reach the top. This point is roughly 1,000 feet in elevation gain from the starting point at Hatcher Pass. This is the most common turnaround spot, but from here the trail continues in multiple directions, so you can continue to hike ridgelines to wherever you feel like going.

Very nice somewhat short trail but can get longer if you choose to follow the unmarked trail that leads to the top of the ridge and there you can follow along the whole ridgeline. Within the bowl is a very nice glacier like pond and another pond.
