Summer Rest Trail

Just off the Gary Shell Cross-City Trail, Summer Rest Trail is a mostly shaded paved path. It begins at the Port City Chop House parking lot (free parking) and ends overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway on Summer Rest Rd. It's relatively flat, with a couple benches along way. It does run adjacent to residential areas and has a tall privacy fence down one side of the trail. Cyclists and dogs welcome. Note: Following heavy rains, a few small areas of the path can be under an inch or so of sitting water, but not impassable.
