Description
The trail exits the parking area and follows the road closely. As evidenced by the sound of passing traffic. Follow the diamond blazes or the well-used trail through the rhododendron, being careful of the roots growing in the path. As you reach the arch, you'll see a giant rock shelter to your right. Follow the trail to the left to quickly view the small, easily accessible arch. You'll have a few options at this point, either continue further for some light rock climbing and some wonderful views (not suggested for kids), crawl on up and through the arch, or return the way you came. If you choose this option, you can easily access the rock shelter you saw when you first approached and climb around the rocks a bit before returning the way you came.
