This sand road provides 4x4 access between Ramps 44, 48 & 49. It varies between 2 to 4 ruts in the sand and has protected dunes/wild areas on both sides. It is located on the other side of the sand dunes from the beach and is called the "Inside Road" on the park maps. At Ramp 44, there is parking at the end of Lighthouse Rd and at Ramp 49 there is parking at the end of Billy Mitchell Rd.
