Description
This trail starts, off the Interpretive Trail just south of Mound C. It travels westward, along the edge of the Etowah River. After crossing over a small footbridge, the trail turns right onto a boardwalk. Here, the trail appears to follow the path in-between the trees, rather than the mowed path (to the right). After passing by the Borrow Pit Overlook, the trail appears to follow in the defensive pit. The rest of this trail can be underwater (sometimes); if the rest of the trail is inaccessible, just follow the Perimeter Trail to the access road.
