Skippack Creek Full Loop

Starting at the parking area on Stump Hall head down Skippack Creek. This is fairly flat until you get to the bend where you'll start a steady uphill and then a steep uphill over some wooden bridges. This is a really nice pine forest and the terrain can be pretty cool especially in the winter. After you get to the top of the hill you start a steady downhill and follow Skippack Creek Loop Trail around until you get to Water Street. Follow Water Street by hiking on the street (watch those cars) or continuing along the Skippack Creek Loop Trail. Take a right over a new bridge and down an embankment to the right. This section of trail is poorly marked and not well worn, but you'll eventually follow a stream/runoff uphill to a bridge. Go over that and continue along the Mill Race Trail.Eventually, you'll go back down near Skippack Creek. Here, there are a few signs with some educational facts that can be kind of interesting especially if you are from the area. Follow this down along Horse Trail next to the creek until you find a trail up off to the left up the hill to Lesher Road. Follow this abandoned part of Lesher Road back down to Kratz Road and across the bridge to where you parked. Be careful of cars here as it is a sharp turn and people take it fast.
