Point Lookout

Point Lookout trail replaces the old section of 405 (Doubletop) that was severely eroded and barely useable, which ran from 409 to 409.5. Since the completion of this trail and the many improvements on 409 itself, it becomes a fantastic trail to access 409.5 or done as an out and back. The views up and down the valley are stellar as you climb or descend Point Lookout. Make sure to stop plenty to soak in the fantastic views and wildflowers and enjoy some brand new singletrack in Crested Butte.
