There and Back
This hike starts from a parking lot (not plowed in the winter) and goes to a split with a small parking area. Go right to stay on the nature trail and continue your ascent. You'll cross a creek and make a couple winding turns until you finally pop out of the woods into a clearing, this is the first top and means you are almost there. You'll descend a little before beginning the final climb to the top of Mt. Baldy. From the top, you can see several lakes and small towns in the Keweenaw as well as Brockway Mountain and other well-known geographical markers in the area.
