Loop
This hike begins at the Upper !Basher Trailhead and follows the Dome Trail and the Knoya Peak Trail up to Knoya Peak. From Knoya Peak, continue southeast along the ridge to the top of Tikishla, where you get great views of the Chugach and the Anchorage bowl, weather permitting. The descent down the south slopes of Tikishla includes decent scree until the slope flattens out a bit. Continuing down the fall line, you'll eventually meet up with the North Fork Campbell Creek Trail. Going east will take you to Williwaw Lakes and going west will take you back to the Dome Trail. On the way to the Dome Trail, the North Fork Campbell Creek Trail will fork west and northwest. Heading west will take you up the backside of Near Point. Theoretically you could go that way back to Basher Drive, but the shortest way is northwest back to the Dome Trail. This featured hike has a difficult rating due to its length, steep grade, and descent down scree slopes.
