Ronald Craven Trail

There are a number of places to park that offer access to this trail. From the park parking lot, head counter-clockwise around the lake. The first part is paved, but you quickly hit the trail once you cross the bridge. A slight climb brings you to the highest point of the trail. Once you crest you wind your way down. You do cross the access road for the boat launch, but that's the last pavement you'll see. Once you come around the corner, you hit the dam area.From here, you can either go high and hike along the top or low and hike along the water. You'll cruise through the woods and finally make your way to the soccer/baseball fields. A short, flat hike gets you to the playground and back to the parking lot.
