Description
Sunshine Canyon Trail is a nicely bench cut contouring trail that climbs from an intersection with Red Rocks Trail near the Mount Sanitas Trailhead into Sunshine Canyon. Because of the contouring and tame nature of this trail, it is a great option for beginning or out of town hikers. It is mostly smooth and never gets very steep at all. In addition, the low angle of this trail means that it is still able to be done with normal footwear, even if it's snowy.
