Loop
First mile from the lot, hooking a left up along the creek is very wide and flat to a mild incline. Turning to the right to "skirt" Raccoon Trail, this wide trail starts with an easy to moderate incline and then flattens to become a great trail for trail running or walking. Beautiful hardwoods abound. You descend around mile 3 to the west side of the mountain, where you'll follow the creek to your left. Just after mile 4 you'll start the climb up toward Jacks Hollow Road. There are a number of side trails you can explore that can hook back to your route if you'd like. Once tagging the top, it's back down to resume the route back to the parking lot.
