Description
The trailhead starts behind the visitors center and goes to the left into a wooded area. At the junction go to the right on the Fallen Log Crossing Trail, enjoying the woods and then into an area with numerous native ferns. The trail then turns into a boardwalk over wetlands and after the boardwalk the journey continues through more woods. When you get to Tarflower Loop, the trail turns to hard packed sand and travels through oak scrub. After exiting the loop, hang a left and head toward Osprey Overlook with a view of the marshlands, majestic Cypress trees, and numerous varieties of birds. Overall, an easy traverse.
