Aspen Corner to Alfa Fia Tank

Aspen Corner to Alfa Fia is a beautiful and very popular trail, especially during the fall colors. From the Snowbowl Road parking area, you'll descend down a rocky and somewhat steep trail through a thick forest, crossing over the Arizona Trail. Soon, a vista opens up over a large meadow ringed with aspens. The tank (pond) sits near the bottom of the meadow, and the trail ends there. Linger for as long as you like, then return back up the way you came to the parking lot. A short detour either north or south on the Arizona Trail makes an enjoyable addition to the route.
