Upland Trail to Martha's Pretty Point

The Upland Trail is a wide easy trail from the Virgin Falls Trail Parking area to Martha's Pretty Point. It can be combined with the Martha's Pretty Point Trail to bypass the challenging Cable Crossing on the Virgin Falls Trail. It also can be used to see something different on the way back on the Virgin Falls Trail. The Trail is wide and relatively easy. Most of it is on a gravel road which isn't the most fun type of hiking. There is one creek crossing that was easily rock-hopped on the day I did this. The trail connects to the Virgin Falls Trail 0.2 miles from the Virgin Falls Trailhead.
