Point to Point
The trailhead for this route is located at the cattle gate on the north end of the trail near Bort Meadow, and at the stone bridge at the south end. The trail rolls through an open meadow often used for cattle grazing - watch for cow patties. This route is sometimes rough due to cattle damage and can be sloppy in winter. The southern half is well shaded by tall Eucalyptus trees, making it a pleasant hike at almost any time of year. The north half is exposed, so it may be hot during the middle of a summer day.
