This trail currently exists as a two-part trail, with completed sections in Fryeburg and Gorham. The western end of the trail starts at the Maine Visitor Center, in Fryeburg, and runs eastward. It travels for about 4 miles and ends at the parking area off Route 5. There is, currently, no connecting route to the Gorham section.
