The trail continues along Willow Creek, and then ascends up to Ross Peak. The trail does not go to the top of the peak, but rather a high saddle to the west of the the summit. This marks the highest point on the Idaho Centennial Trail. The trail then drops down the South Fork of Ross Fork.
