Description
From the Glider Point parking lot, head west uphill to the glider port. At the glider port, you get good views to the west of the ocean, and if the weather and wind are good, you'll find several gliders circling about the hills. In the distance, you may even see some hot air balloons. From there, continue up the mountain and stay to the left at the junction to met up with Miner's Ridge Loop. The trail to the the right may be closed at times, as it can get washed out. That route is very steep and leads straight up to the top of Black Mountain.
