The Allen Jacobs trail is in the Venture River Preserve and managed by the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy. The trail intersects with the Oso Ridge Trail on the South and with the Chaparral Crest Trail and Fern Grotto trails on the North.
The trail is mostly chaparral covered wildland but also runs through an oak canyon riparian area. Their is a nice wooden bridge (constructed in 2020) over the small seasonal creek. Hiking, mountain bikes, and equestrian commonly used the trail.
All Clear
Relatively new trail but very flowy with good views of the Ojai valley. Tread is great, just a bit dusty.
