Description
The south end of this trail begins at the bathrooms and parking lot at Lake Boren Park near the tennis courts. There is a city trail map, water, and benches at the trailhead. The trail descends eastward into the woods behind the tennis court and then joins Coal Creek Parkway northbound. The trail is handicap accessible, bikeable, pet friendly, skate-worthy, and popular with pedestrians. The trail ends in front of McDonalds at the intersection of Coal Creek Parkway and Newcastle Way. From the end, you may connect with the Waterline Trail by heading one-quarter mile west on Newcastle Way past the Newcastle Library.
