Expect a 375-foot elevation gain that feels just steep enough to get your lungs going before leveling into rolling singletrack. The terrain blends exposed benches and rocky outcrops with smoother tread in the gulch, making it ideal for casual hikers and those short on time. Dogs are welcome, the loop is open year-round, and it’s popular with trail runners, too. For the best experience, start early to catch golden light across the Rattlesnake and avoid midday heat on the open ridge.
