Lunch Tree Hill is one of the shortest and easiest hikes in Grand Teton National Park. Almost anyone could complete the hike and the views are great. The trail starts at the north end of the outdoor patio from the Jackson Lake Lodge. Follow the trail up the hill. It's a little steep but not very far. At the top you are rewarded with some fantastic views of the huge open meadows. We saw two moose here and the views of Jackson Lake and the peaks beyond were great. Grand Teton was hiding in the clouds during our walk. Mount Moran is the most prominent peak viewed. While not as popular as Grand Teton, Mount Moran is probably my favorite peak in the park. This is a pleasant and short hike that is great for families or anyone that doesn't have a lot of time.
