Description
This wide gravel trail starts from a gap in the fence a short distance east along Old Highway 8 trail from the Coyote Wall TrailHead. The consistent grade of this old road makes it great for ascending for hikers and mountain bikers alike. It's also wide enough that passing is easily done. This trail ties together the Little Maui Trail #4425, Little Moab Trail #4424, Coyote Wall Trail #4428, Atwood Road, and more making it key to most loops in the area. You can expect excellent views of the gorge and Mount Hood from most of it's length, almost no shade, and lots of other hikers/bikers.
