Description
Directions to Trailhead: Follow 220N for ~20 minutes to Eagle Rock. Turn left onto Rt. 615 and follow for 5.5 miles. Turn right onto Rt. 621 and follow for 1 mile. Turn left into the Roaring Run Parking Area. The Streamside Trail is an excellent trail for the whole family, young and old alike. The trail winds back and forth along Roaring Run. You'll pass rock walls, cascading water, and five footbridges before ending at Roaring Run Falls. This is an easy, straight-forward trail that can be done as an out-and-back or combined with the Woodland Trail for a loop. Approximately halfway to the falls you'll encounter a natural waterslide. The trailhead has toilets and a picnic area with charcoal grill. You can also visit the historic iron ore furnace along the trail.
