Description
From the junction with the Stuart Fork Trail, head west and ford the Stuart Fork. Note that early in the season, high water levels can make this ford impossible. A mile later, at the junction with the Bear Creek Trail, stay right. Climb steeply through sunny chaparral and past a series of waterfalls to Alpine Lake.
