Point to Point
A valley favorite for all forms of recreation. This trail offers scenic views, wildflowers, and a smooth riverside section that follows the Big Wood River. The top of the climb on the Fox Creek side was burned in 2007, allowing visitors to watch the regrowth firsthand. The route is described from the Fox Creek trailhead, but can also be accessed from the Lake Creek and Hulen Way trailheads.
Directions: Drive north on Highway 75 to the Fox Creek access sign (5.8 mi). Follow the road to the trailhead loop parking and picnic area (.3 mi).
