Description
Small Valley between Pharmacy Ave. and Warden Ave. and through Warden Wood. Great place for kids and dogs (on leash). This part of Toronto is very sandy and was once the bottom of a large river. To reduce the erosion, the city of Toronto gave the creek gabion baskets, e.i., wire cages filled with rock. Like most parks in Toronto, Warden Wood has several small spaces where locals gather to relax. These spaces are arranged with fire pits and seating. If you want to get off the main path, there are five bike trails. Take at your own risk since they are very popular to the local mountain bike amateur whom can speed in these narrow lane.

Great little creek side trail with mini beaches along the banks. There is actually a network of trails that passes along the creek.
