Point to Point
Like many trails in Tillamook State Forest, this trail gets right to the point with a lung busting and leg killing climb right out of the trailhead. Thankfully it isn't extremely long, and afterwards the trail levels out in a charming conifer forest. You'll cross the fire road a few times, but the trail is easy to find.
Eventually a short but winding descent takes you down to a creek bed, where the trail mellows out and stays relatively flat as it runs along some nice anti-erosion gravel beds constructed for the trail. The forest looks especially spooky for this segment. Finally, the trail ends at the junction with Beaver Dam Road and turns into Wilson River Wagon Road Trail.
