Description
You can get to this trail by taking either the Dunnfield Creek Trail, the AT trail, or the Fairview Trail. From Dunnfield Creek Trail look for the three dark red blazes signifying the start of the trail after 1.1 miles, when Dunnfield is on northern edge of the creek. The trail cuts sharply back to the west and up the side of the gully. After about a third of a mile, the trail will pass into a small side gully formed by the spring. A little further up the trail, you'll gain the ridge at an intersection with the AT.
