Pecatonica Prairie Trail - Winnebago to Hoisington Road

Access this segment of the Pecatonica Prairie Trail at Memorial Park, 104 W. Main Street, Winnebago, IL 61088. Head north from Memorial Park along Benton Street until you find the trail and turn left. The pavement changes from asphalt to crush gravel on the outskirts of the village after about 0.25 miles. Continue on the trail through the countryside. At 1.6 miles, the trail intersects Comly Road. Cross Comly Road, turn left and follow the trail for a couple yards yard along Comly Road before turning right and heading off the road. Continue for another 1.8 miles before arriving at the end at the Hoisington Road trailhead. You'll cross U.S. Highway 20 via an underpass right before the end.
