Enola Low Grade Trail

You can begin your hikeon the Manor Township segment of the Enola Low Grade Trail at the parking lot on the northern end (ample parking available) or you can loop this route into a hike through Chestnut Grove on the Chestnut Grove Trail. This nearly-flat maintained trail is wide enough for walking, running, and biking, offering great views of the Susquehanna River along the way. Keep an eye out for bald eagles, as they can be found on the river looking for a meal. The full trail is just about 30 miles long, but for its duration it remains similar to the portion described above. The elevation change is slight, but there will be a gentle ascent if you take it as mapped. With many starting and stopping off points, you can make a variety of customized loops, or you can take on its full distance.
