Description
This is a long, mostly paved recreational trail leading from New Haven to Southington. It's good for running and biking as well as a very long walk. Since this trail leads through many cities, it can't be considered too "outdoorsy"; however, there are several access points that can be used to cut down the length. Built along old converted railroad tracks, conservancy groups in Connecticut aim to connect one long trail reaching from New Haven all the way north to the border with Massachusetts. This is the southern portion of the rec trail.
