A short portion of the Juan Batisa De Anza National Historic Trail runs through a number of Arizona State Parks, including Tubac Presidio State Historic Park, Picacho Peak State Park, Yuma Territorial Prision State Historic Park. The 1,200 mile Historic Trail represents the route traveled by colonists in route to San Francisco California.
