Description
Shady and winding with some steep, rocky sections, Chase Gulch Road is a non-motorized dirt road connection from Black Hawk to Maryland Mountain that dates back to the mining era. More function than fun, it does provide some close-up viewing of the historical remnants of businesses and residences from the late-1800's. Enjoyable hiking, running, and dog walking.
