Description
The Village Loop is usually combined with Buddy's Way to make a loop. You can join The Village Loop trail at any point, but the most convenient access is from the grassy "promenade" restaurant/lift area between the village and the ski runs. Amble across the grassy lower slopes of the ski area and the Haymeadow area, passing under several ski lifts. The angle increases only slightly as you make your way eastward past clumps of aspen. The views of the village area improve with the gain in elevation. The trail ends after a short stretch on a wide service road at the junction with the multi-use Aspen Glade Trail and Buddy's Way. To complete the Village Loop, descend on Buddy's Way to arrive back at your starting point. Note: bikes are not allowed on this trail.
