Point to Point
The trail begins at the top of Loveland Pass. The road there is easy and paved, although parking can be difficult particularly on the weekends. The trail can be pretty steep in areas to begin with but once you get up to the ridge line the hiking gets easier and there are amazing views. On clear days, you'll see Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, and Breckenridge ski areas from the top. You can also see Loveland ski area if you hike the ridgeline far enough. You definitely want to be up and back down before storms though. The trail starts at 11,990 feet and there is nowhere to hide from any lightening.
