Overview

Stable populations of walleye, northern pike, white bass and hybrid stripers. Fishing is seasonal with walleye in spring/fall; white bass, stripers and catfish in summer.

Winter ice is too thin and pressure cracked to be safe for anglers, so fishing is restricted to spring, summer and early fall. There is virtually no pressure during late fall when fishing can be excellent.
