Eagle Rock

This is a moderate out-and-back hike along the Tuscarora Trail that leads to wonderful views at Eagle Rock. Follow the blue blazes north from the roadside parking as you hike the ridgeline of Great North Mountain. You'll come to a couple of forks, but stay with the blue blaze, and you'll reach your destination with a stone bench marking the main vista. Most of the hike is at a relatively level elevation until a final climb up to Eagle Rock. Here you'll enjoy panoramic views before heading back down the way you came.
