Short Pack Forest Loop

Park at the gate (far enough back the Pack Forest folks can get in and out). The first part goes along the 2300 Road for 0.55 miles before crossing a log bridge over a washed out culvert to get into the 2340 Road. You have to navigate over scattered burnt piles of logs in a clear cut. But once you get to the far side the gravel road becomes a nice grassy path. It goes through some sections that get a little swampy but not too muddy with some nice moss-covered trees. You come out onto the 2320 Road before rejoining the 2300 Road to get back.
