Lava Canyon Loop

Hike around some slick rock trail around the Lava Canyon area, crossing over the canyon twice. Use caution, as this trail is very slick when wet! The polished lava rock makes for some interesting, however slippery, trail surface. This is an easy path to follow around, crossing a wobbly bridge at the north end (even if it makes you nervous, try to stop at the middle and look up the canyon!) and heading back up to the parking lot. The loop can be traveled in either direction.
