Description
This trail is difficult to access since there's no actual trailhead. Starting from Corridor 9, you won't see any signage indicating this trail; look for the orange flagging around a tree. It heads southward along the obvious path, but has no blazes on the trees. It climbs up to the top of Dome Mountain, where there is a decent view northeast. Past the summit, the trail seems far less traveled and neglected. Before approaching the last peak of the ridge, you'll cross over the boundary of the Green Mountain National Forest. Here, the trail descends along the ridgeline to a snowmobile trail. Though this snowmobile trail isn't displayed on the VAST website, it is (most likely) one of the gas/ food trails to Readsboro.
