Goosenecks State Park

Goosenecks State Park is a very small park, only about 10 acres, that overlooks gigantic bends in the San Juan River. There isn't any shade in this park besides a small pavilion and there are several campsites along the edge of the cliffs. You will find one outhouse-style toilet. The park is very simple. There is a guard station where you pay the $5 and drive straight ahead to where the lookout is. There is a very rough dirt road on the east side that is better hiked for photo ops. There is a short trail to the north of the pavilion that offers different views of the goosenecks too.
