Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center

The trail connects the Wetlands Trail, Fisherman's Trail, and Prairie Trail to make the entire loop. It takes you from hardwood bottomlands to upland prairies. The trails are fairly easy to navigate with trail signage posted throughout the preserve. The path contains some doubletrack/gravel roads, but the majority of the trails are dirt singletrack. This trail provides some great solitude and makes you feel alone just moments from the heart of Denton. An excellent network of trails that gives you a variety of options to create a customizable hike for any occasion.
