Hanging Rock Trail

The trail begins on a paved path leading into a small stream valley. As the trail climbs out of the valley the surface is gravel and sand leading up to the mountain ridge above. At the crest of the ridge the trail has a junction with the Wolf Rock Trail. The trail then follows the ridgeline to the base of Hanging Rock where the cliffs loom over 150 feet above. The trail then leads to the right of Hanging Rock climbing rock steps to the top of Hanging Rock. At the top, the trail then turns to the left, leading to the Hanging Rock overlook.
