Access Issues
No permits or fees are required for day use in the McKenzie Mountain Wilderness. Parking at the Whiteface Inn Lane trailhead is extremely limited, with room for only about 10 to 15 vehicles. Parking along the roadside of Whiteface Inn Lane is strictly prohibited and subject to towing and heavy fines. Visitors should arrive early in the morning to secure a spot, especially during summer and autumn weekends.
