Montrose Park Beach Tour

This hike starts at the parking area near Montrose Beach. Head north past the dog park, and then follow a wide carriage trail along the lake. At the turnaround point you switch over to the Chicago Lakefront Trail - North, which has an cinder trail option along the side. The LFT is a paved path spanning a total of 18 miles along the western shores of Lake Michigan. If you're looking for a longer option, this is the trail to take!Finish your outing by hiking past the new public track and up the "hill" in Montrose Park.
