Loop
The first mile is a crushed limestone road with a gentle rise. When you leave the road for the loop around the campground, you'll be on a singletrack trail that is well kept and fairly even. When you leave the camping area there is a 160 foot climb that brings you to a beautiful overlook of the valley. The next mile takes you along a narrow, well-marked, nature trail with a bridge halfway to the lake.Finally, you'll emerge onto a grass trail that circles the lake. This is fairly even and well maintained. After this, the trail loops back to the parking area where you started.
